Yacht

• Objectives

  Refitting the yacht to offer the owner and his guests a new control system for simplified management of the new audio/video/lighting systems. Remote supervision of equipment for the monitoring of the status of the systems and the implementation of new features, wherever the boat is sailing.

• Concept

  The lighting control system aimed to manage programmed scenarios with light dimming. We wanted to offer guests an exciting experience while watching movies or listening to music, in every common area or cabin of the yacht, and a centralized archive of movies and music with an excellent cataloguing system, usable by any passenger.

• Challenge

  Installation of a new multiroom audio/video system, equipped with centralised servers for the enjoyment of music and movies in high resolution, in all the areas of the yacht. Provision of a lighting control system based on customised control panels, implementation of tablets and mobile devices for simplified system management and evocation of usage scenarios. All this while respecting the limitations of the wiring present in a boat and enclosing the electronic devices in appropriate technical racks, without having to modify the furnishings.

• Results

  All lighting scenarios and individual lighting points are easily manageable by elegant push-button panels custom made, or via an app on mobile devices. Passengers can relax and have fun by using the surround home theatre systems in the common areas and in the owner's private cabin, by listening to music or TV with audio systems in the passenger cabins, with the possibility of choosing from a vast archive of films, documentaries and concerts stored on the video server Kaleidescape. All these conveniences are managed intuitively on the touch panels, tablets and smartphones through the Savant control system.

    Scenarios with coordinated switching on and dimming offer a functional, comfortable and relaxing environment. The lighting can be controlled from custom wall-mounted pushbutton panels or easily managed by remote control, tablet and app on a smartphone through the Savant system.

    The portholes of the cabin have been equipped with polarized filtering glasses, which can become opaque by filtering the external light or become completely transparent.

    The elegant push-button panels that manage the lighting in every room of the yacht have been custom made, with shapes and finishes desired by the client and architect.

  • Entertainment

    Home Theater System

    The cabin has been equipped with a private home theater system, which through five Dali speakers recessed into the ceiling and a hidden subwoofer, allows you to listen to cinematic surround effects and music. A Kaleidescape video server is also connected to the TV installed on the wall, which allows you to distribute films, documentaries and concerts in high resolution on all the yacht's TVs. The Savant integration system guarantees easy use from remote control, tablet and app on smart phone.

    Through the Savant control system, we allow you to listen to the music of the shared audio sources directly through headphones or through the ceiling speakers, or to transform musical instruments into an audio source of the system that can be listened to in any area.

Entertainment is always managed by the Savant control system.
